    Nikolaos Freris(尼克),男,特任教授,博士生导师,IEEE高级会员。2005年获得雅典国家技术大学高级学士学位,同年赴美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校学习,获得电气与计算机工程硕士学位(2007),数学专业硕士学位(2008)及电气与计算机工程博士学位(2010)。2010年至2012年在瑞士IBM研究院担任博士后学者,2012年至2014年在瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院担任高级研究员,2014年至2018年在纽约大学阿布扎比分校担任轨道制助理教授,并兼任纽约大学坦顿工学院助理教授。2019年1月加入中国科学技术大学计算机科学与技术学院担任特任教授。主持多项国家级及国际级科研项目,在IEEE TACON、VLDB journal、SIMAX、CDC、Allerton、ICASSP等高水平学术期刊与会议发表学术论文30余篇,并多次受邀于国内外高校、会议等做研究报告。目前发明美国专利2项,中国专利1项。参与组织并主持如BigCom、IJCAI、Allerton、EUCCO、IRAV等国际会议,在IEEE TACON、ToN、TIT、TSP、Automatica、VLDBJ、KDD、SIOPT、IJCAI等多个知名期刊审稿人,并担任Neurocomputing 2017的客座编辑。
